Welcome to the website for the construction of the City of London Police’s Eastern Base

At the meeting of the City of London Planning Applications Sub-Committee on Tuesday 13 February 2024, Members resolved to grant permission for the planning application for the construction of an operational base for the City of London Police in the car parks at Middlesex Street Estate. The planning consent is subject to the signing of a Section 106 Agreement and compliance with planning conditions.

This means that the design and construction of the Eastern Base will proceed in the coming months. Neilcott Construction Ltd has been appointed as contractor to deliver the project and will have a community notice board and resident liaison on site when works begin.
