Welcome to the website for the construction of the City of London Police’s Eastern Base

At the meeting of the City of London Planning Applications Sub-Committee on Tuesday 13 February 2024, Members resolved to grant permission for the planning application for the construction of an operational base for the City of London Police in the car parks at Middlesex Street Estate. The planning consent was subject to the signing of a Section 106 Agreement and compliance with planning conditions.

Neilcott Construction Ltd has been appointed as contractor to deliver the project and has their site office at 20 Gravel Lane. The project team will issue a weekly construction update to let residents know what’s happening on site. The first phase of the podium is currently underway, with the second half due to start in summer 2025.
